A JUMILLA WINERY WITH OVER 30 YEARS OF COMMITMENT TO THE LAND

Since 1990, in the Murcian Highlands at the foot of the Sierra del Carche, we have been crafting organic wines with Monastrell as the main variety. This native grape reflects the unique character of the D.O. Jumilla and the identity of our land. Each bottle is the result of a perfect balance between tradition and nature.

Our family-run winery relies on hand harvesting and natural yields, always maintaining a deep respect for the environment. Each wine is born with intention, authenticity, and soul, conveying the essence of the landscape where it was grown. In this way, we continue a legacy built on honesty and a genuine love for wine.

The high-altitude microclimate, with strong temperature contrasts between day and night, brings structure and freshness, resulting in wines with personality, balance, and elegance, capable of expressing the history and strength of Jumilla in every glass.

OUR VINEYARDS: THE ESSENCE OF JUMILLA

We cultivate our own vineyards across different sites within the D.O. Jumilla, carefully selected for their calcareous soils and cool exposures that promote balanced grape ripening. Each plot reflects a different facet of our land, contributing unique nuances to the wines of Bodegas Carchelo.

We also practice sustainable, low-intervention viticulture, respecting the natural rhythms of the vineyard. This approach allows us to obtain high-quality grapes capable of expressing the Jumilla terroir with authenticity, elegance, and balance, vintage after vintage. Ultimately, this constant dedication enables us to craft honest wines that speak of the landscape and of our way of understanding viticulture.

The Abellán Guardiola family, long devoted to the cultivation of the vine, the almond, and the olive tree, is now driving a new chapter with the incorporation of the third generation. In doing so, we continue a story shaped by hard work, perseverance, and a deep love for the land.
